Manufacture Alabama's Staff


George Clark
President
Manufacture Alabama


As president of Manufacture Alabama, George serves as chief executive and lobbyist.  Prior to becoming president, George served as president of the Alabama Industry and Manufacturers Association (AIM).  He was AIM’s only president, helping to start the association in 1996. 

George served two terms in the Alabama House of Representatives.  While serving in the legislature, George provided the legislative leadership for, and was the chief sponsor of, the Heritage Trust Fund, which invested Alabama’s oil and gas royalties.  He also sponsored the accompanying legislation that infused $520 million into the infrastructure of Alabama, upgrading roads, bridges and the Port of Mobile.

He received his juris doctorate and his bachelor’s degree (commerce and business) from the University of Alabama.



Rebecca P. Camerio
Vice President of Finance


Rebecca serves as vice president and chief financial officer of Manufacture Alabama.  She is responsible for all budgeting, forecasting and accounting for M.A.  She also plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the staff, programs and activities for the association. She serves as the staff liaison for the MA Board and serves as a staff resource to our councils and committees.

As the former executive director of the Alabama Textile Manufacture Association (ATMA), Rebecca has over twenty years of experience in association management. 



Blake Hardwich
Director of Public Relations
& External Affairs

Blake handles internal and external communications for the association,and assists the president in implementing and executing MA’s various proactive initiatives. She also coordinates membership retention and recruitment and serves as a staff resource to our councils and committees.  Blake also works alongside the president and MA in their lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill.  Blake received her BA degree in Political Science from Auburn University and her Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law.  Before coming to Manufacture Alabama, Blake was engaged in the practice of law as a trial attorney specializing in workers’ compensation, social security and personal injury.


Roy McAuley
APPCO Executive Director


Roy is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Alabama Pulp & Paper Council (APPCO). Roy had worked as Environmental Consultant for APPCO since 2001 and became Executive Director with the merger of APPCO with Manufacture Alabama.  He retired as Technical Services Manager from International Paper’s mill in Prattville in 2001 after 36 years in paper industry technical and environmental work. He is a 1965 Auburn graduate. He lives in Prattville with his wife Elaine, has 4 children, and 11 grandchildren.



Kendra Vaughan
Administrative Assistant

Kendra assists the Vice President of Finance in all areas of events, including area meetings; committee meetings; programs and conferences.  She also maintains our database as well as our website. In addition to maintaining our computer network; she also assists with the development of our annual membership directory as well as our safety program. Kendra received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Troy University.  Prior to coming on board with Manufacture Alabama, Kendra served as a Human Resources Recruiter for Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC.





Paige Kennedy
Administrative Assistant

Paige is responsible for all administrative and general clerical duties as well as scheduling conference rooms, conference calls while maintaining the records for all events. She also provides general support directly to the Vice President of Finance in all areas of responsibility. Paige is currently attending Troy of Montgomery in the pursuit of a Computer Science degree. Before coming on board with Manufacture Alabama, Paige was employed by Quality Assurance Testing Laboratories.
